I am a deliberative democracy artist at the DD Center for Democracy (based in Tartu, Estonia). The Center is a private international nonprofit working on developing institutions that make democracies work.
I have introduced climate assemblies in Estonia to enrich decisionmaking around the environmental challenges of today. With three deliberative mini-publics in recent three years, I try, together with my team, to integrate deliberative democracy into the ecosystem of an open society.
I am an experienced open governance advocate with more than 15 years of experience from civil society and public sector. I am an active member in the global Open Government Partnership, Democracy R&D network, Knowledge Network on Climate Assemblies (KNOCA). I serve as the Avisory Board member of FIDE, Federation for Innovation in Democracy, Europe.
