The Government of Georgia will host the 5th OGP Global Summit in Tbilisi, Georgia, on July 17-19, 2018. The Summit will provide an excellent opportunity for leaders from OGP’s 76 participating countries, local governments, and beyond to exchange ideas on how they are making their governments more transparent, accountable, and responsive to citizens.

I have a degree in Economic Law from the University of Deusto. Profesionally I have practiced in both the legal and banking sectors, and currently I hold a public responsibility in the Government of Bizkaia.

I believe that politics are a public service, based in closeness and collaboration with citizens. This conects with the concept of AUZOLAN, which is deeply rooted in Euskadi, and which links with the basic principles of open government.

I am interested in citizen participation based accountability processes.
