The Government of Georgia will host the 5th OGP Global Summit in Tbilisi, Georgia, on July 17-19, 2018. The Summit will provide an excellent opportunity for leaders from OGP’s 76 participating countries, local governments, and beyond to exchange ideas on how they are making their governments more transparent, accountable, and responsive to citizens.

Magda Magradze is the Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Account-Georgia managing implementation of $140 million Georgia Compact of the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation. Prior, Magda Magradze held various managerial positions coordinating educational and cultural programs, among those she was the Caucasus Region Manager of the Academic Fellowship Program of Open Society Foundations Higher Education Support Program, Cultural Affairs coordinator at the U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Section in Tbilisi, projects coordinator at USAID, World Bank, and the EU projects.

Magda was awarded with numerous U.S. government awards for outstanding work in promoting and expanding the U.S. Government cultural and educational programs, resulting in U.S.-Georgia partnerships bringing positive changes in Georgia. Magda is a lawyer by education (graduate of Tbilisi State University), she holds an ABD (All But Dissertation) in higher education marketing, and has also an MA equivalent in economics (graduate of Tbilisi State University of Economic Relations). She is an alumna of the U.S. Department of State-funded Future Leaders Exchange Program (1994-1995) and the U.S. Department of Commerce-funded SABIT program (1998). Magda speaks Georgian (native), English, Russian, and German languages.
