The Government of Georgia will host the 5th OGP Global Summit in Tbilisi, Georgia, on July 17-19, 2018. The Summit will provide an excellent opportunity for leaders from OGP’s 76 participating countries, local governments, and beyond to exchange ideas on how they are making their governments more transparent, accountable, and responsive to citizens.

Ms. Eunbyul Cho is a Senior Program Officer at the WeGO Secretariat. Prior to joining WeGO, Ms. Cho worked at the Ministry of Strategy and Finance (MOSF), Korea as a research officer, supervising the operations of the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) and managing the Ministry’s policy advice program known as the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP), which aims to share Korea’s development know-how and support economic development of the partner countries in a demand-driven manner. Also, she was actively engaged in numerous global discussions including the OECD Development Assistance Committee, the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation and facilitated collaborative work between the MOSF and international organizations such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and the UN.

Ms. Cho grew up in both Korea and the UK and holds a Master’s Degree in Development Policy from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management.
