The Government of Georgia will host the 5th OGP Global Summit in Tbilisi, Georgia, on July 17-19, 2018. The Summit will provide an excellent opportunity for leaders from OGP’s 76 participating countries, local governments, and beyond to exchange ideas on how they are making their governments more transparent, accountable, and responsive to citizens.

Sandro Nozadze is the procurement specialist in Solutions and Innovations in Procurement in the World Bank’s Governance Global Practice. Georgian national and graduate of European School of Management (ESM) he has 12+ years of procurement related experience. He has been working as civil servant and procurement consultant with Roads Department of Georgia between 2006-2011, dealing with high value infrastructure projects, financed by different donors WB, ADB, JICA.

Sandro started working for the World Bank in July 2011, as a procurement specialist and since then has been actively engaged in procurement oversight on projects financed by the World Bank in Azerbaijan and Georgia. He has led several key reforms, through which the World Bank adopted Georgian E-Procurement System in project it finances. Sandro has delivered number of trainings/business outreach for governments, private sector representatives and donors in Georgia and outside, including procurement/e-procurement trainings conducted in Austria, Azerbaijan, Greece, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and USA.

Sandro is leading TA project for “Improving Transparency and Efficiency in Public Procurement” with major goal of disclosing procurement related data in state tenders in open date format as well as analyzing data in all public tenders.
