The Government of Georgia will host the 5th OGP Global Summit in Tbilisi, Georgia, on July 17-19, 2018. The Summit will provide an excellent opportunity for leaders from OGP’s 76 participating countries, local governments, and beyond to exchange ideas on how they are making their governments more transparent, accountable, and responsive to citizens.

Support to Public Administration Reform in Georgia Project Manager

Nana Tsiklauri joined UNDP Georgia as Public Administration Reform (PAR) Project Manager in September 2017. UNDP has been offering consistent support to Georgia’s efforts in reforming its public administration over the decade. The present multi-year initiative,” Support to Public Administration Reform in Georgia” addresses set of specific, predetermined needs under the three (Policy development and Cooperation; Civil Service and Human Resource Management and Public Service Delivery) crucial areas within the PAR reform Roadmap. The initiative intends to sustain, support and build key institutions and processes required for advancing the PAR reform in the country. Before joining UNDP Georgia, she was actively engaged in public sector development work during her employment with the Public Service Development Agency (PSDA). At PSDA she served as the Deputy Chairperson and led the Strategic Projects and Reforms Department. She was actively engaged in the design and implementation of initiatives aiming at improving public service delivery in Georgia with a strong citizen-centric approach and focus on e-Governance and public service innovation.In the past she worked with a number of international donor agencies and local NGOs in the field of development cooperation. Her experience in the public sector realm is underscored by a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).Over the last years she has focused on decentralization, agile Governance models and citizen-centric public services. As part of the recent and ongoing projects she has been involved in initiatives aiming at introducing innovations into the way public services are designed and delivered, fostering e-skills development, and application of Design Thinking and other innovative tools to inform public policy.
