The Government of Georgia will host the 5th OGP Global Summit in Tbilisi, Georgia, on July 17-19, 2018. The Summit will provide an excellent opportunity for leaders from OGP’s 76 participating countries, local governments, and beyond to exchange ideas on how they are making their governments more transparent, accountable, and responsive to citizens.

The Power of Incentives and Accountability Mechanisms: Best Practices in Development Cooperation
Over the past decade, the MCC has pioneered an innovative development model based on data-driven selectivity, evidence-based analysis, country-owned programs, and a strong commitment to transparency and accountability. MCC would like to share its lessons in pursuing various approaches to incentives and accountability and also learn from the experience and perspectives of others. MCC will convene a knowledge cafe with thematic discussions on various approaches to incentives and accountability - from multistakeholder partnerships to policy reform to country ownership.
