The Government of Georgia will host the 5th OGP Global Summit in Tbilisi, Georgia, on July 17-19, 2018. The Summit will provide an excellent opportunity for leaders from OGP’s 76 participating countries, local governments, and beyond to exchange ideas on how they are making their governments more transparent, accountable, and responsive to citizens.

OGP Trust Fund Launch: A Conversation about Supporting Co-Creation, Thematic Ambition, and Implementation in OGP

As a unique vehicle to advance the open government agenda, the OGP Trust Fund is officially being launched at the Georgia Summit to support co-creation, implementation and thematic ambition. The OGP Trust Fund Launch is a conversation with OGP featuring awardees and representatives from DFID, AfD and WB, on how the Trust Fund will help support critical areas for improvement. We will hear from the 2018 co-creation awardees, and how they intend to leverage Trust Fund grants to improve ambition and ownership of the co-creation process. We will also be discussing the different windows that the Trust Fund is supporting, including key insights from our donors and partners. The launch session is also an opportunity to provide space for the community to ask questions, and surface ideas about innovative ways to support OG reforms.
