The Government of Georgia will host the 5th OGP Global Summit in Tbilisi, Georgia, on July 17-19, 2018. The Summit will provide an excellent opportunity for leaders from OGP’s 76 participating countries, local governments, and beyond to exchange ideas on how they are making their governments more transparent, accountable, and responsive to citizens.

This workshop focuses on the issue of diversity of PB cases in EU members and candidate countries. The objective is to examine different experiences of PB implementation, and to discuss the potential fit of PB cases and their surrounding environments. The question to address: how to initiate and elaborate the right PB model for your local government. We look into the factors and actors that are conducive to the adoption of PB and barriers and triggers of its implementation and diffusion. Outcomes

  1. Tips to develop PB in your municipality: steps to take when elaborating your model of PB
  2. Clear understanding of the expected challenges when initiating and implementing PB
  3. Knowledge-sharing of international PB practices.
